Royalton Bavaro: Chairman Two Bedroom Diamond Club Suite {Dominican Republic}
I stayed in the Diamond Club Chairman Two Bedroom Ocean Front Suite at the family-friendly Royalton Bavaro All-Inclusive Resort and Spa in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and it was EPIC!
This massive 3,164 sf premium suite is fit for royalty with two bedrooms, three full bathrooms, living room, formal dining, pool table, three oceanfront view balconies, outdoor jacuzzi, kitchenette, and a butler’s pantry for the personal butler that comes along with your stay.
I was lucky enough to stay in this suite as I was taken along on a well-to-do friend’s birthday trip. But for all the luxury fit for a king, I was extremely surprised to find the rate was not completely outrageous in the scheme of what you get.

Royalton Bavaro – Chairman Suite Living Area
The best word I can think of to describe this suite is indulgent. It’s absolutely massive, and the gold accents truly made me feel like royalty. We joked that we felt like we were staying in Trump Tower.
Entering the suite, you have a long hall way that opens to a massive open concept living space. This area includes a living room with big screen TV, pool table, and a formal dining table that seats 8.
There is also a kitchenette and a fully stocked bar. Hidden behind the bar is a separate butler’s pantry with its own entrance. And yes, your room comes with a private butler!
There is also a full restroom with shower off the living space. This is a great perk if someone is sharing the secondary bathroom suite!
The balcony runs the entire length of this area views both the oceanfront and the Diamond Club pool. The balcony has a jacuzzi hot tub and outdoor dining table.
Royalton Bavaro – Chairman Master Suite
The two bedrooms are located at exact opposite ends of the suite for privacy purposes. While they are both very similar size bedroom suites, the master suite features a king sized bed while the secondary bedroom comes with two queen size beds.
The master suite also features the suite’s second balcony, which is completely separate than the living area balcony (although with the same view).
The master on-suite restroom has double sinks, a large bathtub, built-in closet, and a separate water closet.
Royalton Bavaro – Chairman Second Bedroom Suite
The second bedroom suite was almost identical to the master suite with the exception of having two queen beds instead of a king bed. It too had it’s own private oceanfront view balcony.
This was the perfect set up for two people to share the room. It was also great that one person could have the ensuite and the other could have the private bathroom off the living room, just steps out our door.
I was also so excited I had my own tub even though I was just in the secondary room!
Royalton Bavaro – Chairman Suite View
We stayed in Building 20, which directly faces the Diamond Club Pool and the ocean. This is basically the only building at the resort that has this direct ocean facing view. All other rooms face the interior of the resort with perhaps a partial ocean view.
It was really nice to sit on the porch and eat breakfast while enjoying the view. Plus, there was great people watching at the beach!
I did notice our section of the resort was less loud and rambunctious due to the Diamond Club status.
Diamond Club at Royalton Bavaro
The Diamond Club is Royalton’s upgraded suite class. Diamond Club suites include a personal butler, an upgraded room and view, and access to exclusive Diamond Club pools, beachfront, bars, and restaurants.
I do feel the Diamond Club upgrade is worth it at this resort, due to the Diamond Club’s pool and beachfront area. These areas were less crowded and felt more upscale, and there were less unruly children in this area.
The Diamond Club also includes use of a personal butler assigned to you during your stay. Your butler can help you make reservations, order room service, and assist you with anything you might need. While this was indeed a luxurious experience, I personally feel a bit too independent to need a butler at my beck and call.
Royalton Bavaro’s Chairman Suite Collection
The Two Bedroom Chairman Suite is offered in a standard ocean view option like ours, as well as a swim-up version. Personally, I preferred the view of the ocean front suite and would not have liked to be in a such a luxe suite right on the ground where everyone can see in.
In addition to two bedrooms, Royalton Bavaro also offers a 3767 sqft Chairman Three Bedroom Suite Diamond Club in both ocean front view and swim-up pool version, which sleeps ten. There is also the 4370 sqft Chairman Four Bedroom suite, which sleep twelve.
Upgrading to the three bedroom suites adds $200-$300/night to your tab, while the four bedrooms will increase the bill by $700-$800/night.
What is the cost of the Chairman Suite?
I’m sure you’re now dying to know the cost of this room!
As I mentioned above, I was a guest of friends who have a Royalton timeshare. Therefore, I am not sure what the total for our trip was. However, I did look up the rates so I could get you the scoop!
On average, the Chairman Two Bedroom Suite runs about $1200/night all inclusive for four adults. That comes down to approximately $300/night per person. A five night stay like ours would have come in at around $6,000 plus flights and cash tips. Not bad considering the height of luxury offered by this room!
