If you have a large bust and are struggling to find the bikinis that fit your chest, look no further than this ultimate guide to the best large bust bikinis.

As a 36G, I have been on the hunt to find the best large bust bikini options for years. I’ve spent countless time, energy, and money searching for swimsuit tops that actually fit my large bust.

I’ve probably spent thousands of dollars purchasing and then returning failed bikini tops!

But don’t worry, I’m here to keep you front the same fate. I’ve compiled a list of all the swimsuits I’ve found that fit my large bust in this blog post – including what size I wear for comparison.

Monday Swimwear

One of the best swimsuit brands for large busts that I’ve found is Monday Swimwear. Monday is a luxe brand that offers a variety of bikini styles in their signature sizes V (voluptuous), VV (very voluptuous), and even VVV for the largest busts. While the models tend to be thin women, I have had amazing luck buying size VV and VVV tops from Monday. Note prices are high, but the bikinis are high quality and have held up well over time. And if you like their aesthetic, you’f find plenty of glam cover ups and accessories at Monday as well.

Best For: Luxe options for sunbathing. Smaller bands and larger cups.

Monday Tulum Top

The Monday Tulum Top is an adjustable large bust bikini that I consider to be a hybrid between a halter and a triangle top. The knots at the strap slide up or down to convert the cups from triangle to halter for more or less coverage. I really love that you can make two looks from the same top! Plus, if you get the batching bottoms, those have adjustable coverage as well. Overall this is a very comfortable suit that feels like a second skin.

Monday Maui Top

The Maui Top is an underwire style that ties at the back with adjustable shoulder straps. I have mixed thoughts about this top because I actually had to cut out the underwire from the swimsuit. I found that the ends of the underwire rubbed my arms near the bicep area really badly. If you look closely at the photos on their website, you can see it sticking out on the larger-busted models while it lays flat on the smaller chested ones. Once I cut out that pesky underwire, however, I found the Maui Top to be comfortable – though you do lose some support without the underwire.

Monday Clovelly Top

The Monday Clovelly Top is another underwire option for large busted women with adjustable shoulder straps and the top ties at the back. The underwire was very comfortable and supportive, and it fit my cups nicely. However, I will note the front of the shoulder straps do get a bit twisted and I felt like the straps sat too far out on my shoulders. This can be a nuisance if you have sloped shoulders like myself and I was constantly adjusting the twisted straps.

Monday Portofino Top

In my opinion the Portofino Top gives the look of a halter top but instead has adjustable shoulder straps and a tie back. It’s underwire free and comfortable, and surprisingly supportive. I also love how the top has a lot of coverage on the side for those with a wide-set chest. Unfortunately, the Portofino Top has been out of stock since June 2023. If it comes back in stock, jump on it!

Monday Morocco Top

If you like the Tulum Top, then I would definitely recommend checking out the Morocco Top. This is a halter style triangle top that ties at the neck and back, and while the straps are thinner, it did not put too much pressure on my neck. There is an adorable ring detail and many of the colors are on a ribbed fabric. I also recommend getting the matching Morocco bottoms to complete the set.

Monday Sorrento Top

My latest addition to my Monday collection is the Sorrento Top. This is another underwire top that features adjustable wide straps and a wide tie-back. I was skeptical that the demi-style cups would fit my large bust, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it fits. This is advertised as Monday’s newest, redefined large bust underwire bikini top – and I think they really got this one totally right, correcting some of the things I didn’t like about their other underwire tops.

Frankie’s Bikinis

If you love flirty and feminine bikini styles, then you will love Frankie’s Bikinis. While I initially was hesitant to order due to lack of bustier models on their website, I found that there are actually a number of bikinis that are sized for larger chests. The brand offers XL and XXL tops, many of which are cut pretty generously. And when you find a style you like, they typically offer it in a number of different patterns and colors. There are tons of bottom options as well, so you can make a matching set. Just note, the styles are typically fairly minimally cut.

Best For: Flirty and feminine styles.

Frankie’s Bikinis Tia Triangle

The Tia Triangle is a traditional string bikini triangle top that ties at the neck and back. While this can be a notoriously difficult style for large busts, I was extremely surprised to see how well it fit. The cups are generously sized and I actually found the XXL I purchased to be TOO large/baggy in the cups! That’s definitely a first for me. I ended up purchasing another set in XL but kept both tops. The larger size is actually quite comfortable and is a great option when I want more of a full coverage.

Frankie’s Bikinis Cola Underwire

Body Glove

Did you know that the American surf-wear staple Body Glove has an entire line of D-F cup large bust bikini tops? These tops are comfortable, sporty, and come in a number of different colors. The best part is that the D-F tops even fit larger cup sizes like my G cup. Additionally, there is a plus size collection available if you have a larger band along with the large cup size. Whether you are an athletic woman or just looking for a sportier style, Body Glove has some great options.

Best For: Comfortable, sporty cuts in D-F and plus sizing.

Body Glove Drew Top

The Drew D-F Cup Bikini Top is one of my top picks for large busted women, with a full-coverage, sporty style. The straps criss cross at the back and then tie, so you can size up as large as possible to increase room in the cups while still having a perfect band fit. This is my go to suit for not only when I am active but when I just want to be completely comfortable. I now have it in several colors and plan to keep buying more!

Body Glove Dita Top

While Body Glove’s Dita Top only comes in a D-cup, don’t be fooled. This triangle top string bikini top is perfect for large busted women and even fits my G cup! The cups are generously cut, though note that straps are thin. I personally didn’t think the thin straps were too uncomfortable on my neck, though it is something in mind. I also love that you can wear this style up-side down like many of our smaller-busted counterparts do with their string bikini tops.

Body Glove Olivia Top

The Olivia Top is one of the only longline bikini top cuts designed specifically for D-F cups I have seen. The top is super comfortable and sporty, and also has a cute little cut out and tie detail. The back is completely adjustable, so it’s great for larger cups and smaller band sizes. It’s even offered in a plus-size version as well for those with larger bands along with the large cups. I will note on me the bottom tended to roll/flip up a little bit, so I did have to adjust it down every once in a while. That’s why, I think, the top doesn’t look really longline in the photos.

Kitty & Vibe

Kitty & Vibe is a body positive and size inclusive swimwear brand whose signatures suits are bottoms based on your butt and hip size. And even if you’re packing more up top than down below, there are multiple options available for large chested girls. Sizes range from XS to 4XL, and recently they launched options specifically for smaller bands in E-G cups! The models that they use are very diverse in shape and size, and they do not do any photo retouching. I also love that real customers can even apply to model for the brand.

Best For: Body positivity and size inclusivity. All sizes including small bands, plus sizes, and bottoms sized for your booty.

Kitty & Vibe Ruffle String Top

The Ruffle String Top from Kitty and Vibe is cut generously in the cups and features thicker straps for a more comfortable fit. I was very pleasantly surprised to see how large the cups were when I got it. I will note that because it has straps over the shoulder instead of a neck tie, it was a little bit big around for me. When I pulled it tight and adjusted the shoulder straps, it ended up riding pretty high up my back. With that being said, because the cups were so generous, I am sure I could have sized down to improve that.

J.Crew

Did you know your favorite preppy workwear store J.Crew stocks bikinis that fit large busts during the summer season? While swimwear may not be available year round, there are plenty of options for D+ cups at J.Crew in the summer. There are several styles specifically sized for DD+ busts as well as a number of standard tops that go up from size XL – 3XL. Depending on your band size or the bikini’s ability to adjust the band, you can find some great options here. Plus, with J Crew’s swim collection focused on mixing and matching, it’s super easy to find the perfect pair.

Best For: Preppy styles, larger bands, summertime offerings.

J.Crew String Bikini Top

The J.Crew String Bikini Top goes all the way up to a size 3X, allowing you to size up in the cups while still having the ability to tie the back and neck strings tight enough for your band. I found this triangle top to be very well-fitting and comfortable, though note the tie strings are quite thin. Overall, this top is an excellent traditional string bikini top for large busts that comes in many mix and match colors.

J.Crew DD-Cup 1993 Underwire Bikini Top

While their throwback classic DD-Cup 1993 Underwire bikini top is sized for DD cups, I still was able to make this work for my 36G cup. While technically a 36G, I ordered the size 40DD on a gamble. The cups fit great, though the band was a little loose. I ended up tying it in the back instead of using the clasps. While not a perfect fit, it was still a great option – and probably perfect for women who have a larger band size.

Kulani Kinis

Kulani Kinis, although based in Australia, ships worldwide and offers a number of busty options. Due to the difference in Australian sizing, you will find tops appropriate for DD-G cups in their 2XL and 3XL section. And if you aren’t sure of which to pick, Kulani has one of the most amazing customer service teams I know. After placing a larger order with multiple size options, the customer service team proactively reached out to assist me with sizing and ensure I was ordering only items I would be able to fit into. With this brand, you don’t need to hesitate shooting an email over to customer service for assistance in selecting the best options and sizes.

Best For: Smaller bands, US size 12 and below, and personalized customer service.

Kulani Kinis Bralette Top

The Kulani Kinis customer service team recommends the Bralette Bikini Top as the best option for large busts like mine. This is a string bikini style top with an adjustable tie back an fixed shoulder straps that do not adjust. I will note that this bikini was just slightly too small for my H cup and I really needed more lift than the non-adjustable shoulder straps could provide. So, I made a quick snip to free the neck ties and then tied them around my neck halter style. There was still a little cup spillage, but overall, I was very happy with my purchase and felt more covered and lifted with this DIY mod.

Kulani Kinis Underwire Bralette Bikini Top

One of Kulani’s newest large bust bikini tops is the Underwire Bralette. This top easily accommodated my 36G cup with no spillage or gaping, and the underwire was quite comfortable. The halter straps were thick and supportive, and the clasp back fit my band perfectly. This is a new underwire version of the classic Bralette Bikini Top, and I really think they hit the mark with this one.

Kulani Kinis Crop Tie Back Bikini

The Crop Tie Back Bikini top is a sporty style that is extremely comfortable and supportive. It honestly felt like I was wearing a sports bra – perfect for snorkeling and being active in the water. The back laces up and ties so it is a completely adjustable fit. Unfortunately, this top is now out of stock after my purchase in summer 2023. If they bring it back, don’t hesitate to grab one!

Venus

Venus is a catalogue company that gives serious 2000s Victoria Secret vibes. While this may not sound like the most enticing place to buy bikinis, I promise you it’s worth a look for large busts. Venus primarily offers 32-36 band sizes and has some D – DDD cup options. Year after year the styles are basically the same, so you can keep coming back for tried and true options. Plus the best part is that they are super affordable.

Best For: Smaller bands, D-DD cups, affordable options, basics.

Venus Triangle String Bikini Top

Venus has had their Bahama String Bikini Top (formerly named the Triangle String Bikini Top) available for several years, and it’s always offered in a variety of colors and prints. Sizing on this string bikini is offered in 32DDD and 34DD sizes. However, because this the top ties at the back and neck, it doesn’t matter what size band you go with. Just size up for the room in the cups! Plus, the top is very affordable, so feel free to stock up! They are perfect for mix and match.

Stella’s Sizing: I am wearing the Triangle String Bikini Top in 34DD and a mix and match bikini bottom. However, I do own the matching String Side Bikini Bottom in 8. I was a size 8/10 and a 34H in these photos.

RAQ

True to its name, RAQ is a D+ cup swimwear brand designed by busty people for busty people. While they only offer three basic swimsuit top styles, the tops come in over 56 bra sizes. There is also a number of colors and patterns available. Sizes range from 30 D/E to 42 J/K and there is a 30 day fit guarantee. Colors can sell out quickly, so make sure you jump if you see something you like. Keep an eye on their socials for the restocks announcements.

Best For: Custom bra fit, extra large cups, bra sizing

RAQ Multiway Top

RAQ’s classic large bust top is the Multiway Top, which features underwire cups, a clasp back, and double string tie neck. The multiway top is amazing not only because it has full coverage cups in bra sizing, but it also can be tied in several different ways for different looks. Interestingly, I ordered this top twice – once in a 14GG/H and the other time a 36F/G. I am not entirely sure if their size chart changed or if I was accidentally on the non-US version of the website.

RAQ Balconette Top

The Balconette Top is RAQ’s newest release, and I knew I had to have it when I saw this shimmery pink color. This underwire top fits perfectly, just like a well fitting bra, and it was true to my standard bra size. My chest was supported all day and it didn’t move an inch while kayaking and exploring in it. I did need to size up in this top, trading in the 12FF/G for a 14GG/H. Overall I was very pleased with the sizing of this balconette cut top.

Aerie

Aerie, American Eagle’s loungewear and intimates brand, seasonally offers bikini collections with some options for larger busts. Aerie is easily accessible at most malls across the country, making it a great option for easy try ons and returns. While most large bust bikini tops at Aerie go up to a 34-36DD, you can find some tops in sizes XL and XXLs that work for larger busts. However, I will note these sizings tend to work better for large busts paired with larger bands. And, styles change every season, so if you see something you like – grab it!

Aerie Cut Out Bikini Top

I wore the Aerie Cut Out Top for a snorkeling expedition and stayed securely in place the entire time. It is a comfortable sports bra style top, with cut-out details on the side. I was a little nervous to try it on because the band is not adjustable. However, it fit surprisingly great! Based on my fit, this top would probably work best for a 36 – 38 band. It may be a little too large around for smaller bands. Unfortunately, this top is now out of stock, but Aerie does release similar styles occasionally.

Aerie Plunge Bikini Top

I purchased the Aerie Plunge Bikini Top in the largest size possible and was pleasantly surprised by how much cup coverage the halter provided. I will say, however, that it was too big around the band for my size 34 band. I ended up typing it instead of using the clip closure. I cut those clips off and you couldn’t tell it wasn’t supposed to be tie back! With that in mind, the XXL would probably work better for a 38-40 band. And while this top is a couple of years old and no longer available, Aerie typically puts out a very similar style each year.

Amazon

I think we might all have a love/hate relationship with Amazon. It can feel icky supporting fast fashion and daunting searching through the thousands of items available. Plus, if you haven’t noticed, sizing is all over the place! But did you know there are a couple really great bikini tops for large chests on Amazon? I’ve tried them, so no need to waste time sorting through the options and hoping they fit. Check out my Amazon picks for large bust bikini tops.

Amazon Taineh Top

The Amazon Taineh Top is a true string bikini that can accommodate up to a G cup. The suit comes in 34 colors, and so cheap you can afford multiple sets. It is available as a set or you can purchase the bikini top and the bottom separately. I tried both and found I truly needed different size tops and bottoms. Just keep in mind the sizing is really strange due to the bikinis coming from overseas. Also note the bottom is thong cut, so you may want to mix and match with other bottoms you own.

Amazon Relleciga Strappy Top

The Amazon Relleciga Strappy Bikini Top offers a bralettes style bikini top that actually fit my large bust. The top has thin, string shoulder straps that cross over in the back and then lace and tie. It also has a cute strappy detail at the front of the top. Because of the supportive tie back I was able to order the largest size available to accommodate my bust. I was kind of pushing the boundaries of fitting into this top, and had some spillage going on, but overall it’s a very cute and surprisingly comfortable top.

Amazon Relleciga Halter Top

If you’re looking for something unique, the Amazon Relleciga Halter Top offers a keyhole cut out halter style that I haven’t really seen elsewhere. The top features a string tie neck and a thicker strap back tie, so I was able to size up to the largest size possible to get the most coverage I could. It’s very adjustable and I love the look of the cut out at the chest. The only downside is that I did feel like my chest was a bit flattened out/squished, so don’t expect a perfect shape. Overall, this is a great option for an affordable and different option.

Good American

I’m not a fan of the Kardashians, but I am a fan of Khloe’s clothing company Good American. Known specifically for their jeans, Good American is a size inclusive and body positive brand that also features a swimwear collection. Sizes range from S – 5XL, making it an amazing option for larger band sizes and plus size women as well. Good American uses diverse models on their website, and you can even choose which size model is shown when you browse their products. Note that with Good American, the larger sizes do increase the band size, so I recommend looking for tie-back bikini options if you are not a larger band size.

Good American Bali Top

The Good American Bali Top is a super unique, asymmetrical top that I ordered as a gamble. I ended up ordering it in the largest size possible, and it did cover my G-cup fully. Even with the one shoulder style, I didn’t feel like I was sagging or would slip out at all. I will note that since I sized up all the way, the band around was way too big. I ended up tying it in a knot instead of using the clasp. With that being said, I’m thinking this band would probably better fit a 38-40 band. Note, as of 2025, this top is not sold.

Good American Hi-Hi Tanga Top

When I ordered the Good American Hi-Hi Tanga Top, I ordered the largest size possible hoping for enough cup coverage. When I received it, I was shocked to find it was actually way too big in the cups! I returned it and size down, and the top still had ample coverage. It was such a nice feeling being able to size down for once! With its extended sizing and generous cut, this top is perfect for both small bands with larger busts as well as large busted plus size women. Unfortunately, as of 2025 it is also out of stock, but keep an eye open as Good American rotates styles often.

Left on Friday

If you love to mix and match, Left on Friday is the busty bikini brand for you! Left on Friday specifically offers a “Big Boob Top” collection that is specifically sized for D+ cups. There are currently five different styles available, but dozens of mix and match colors to choose from. Left on Friday also offers detailed fit guides as well as a handy mix and match guide that show color combinations real customers have used. Left on Friday tops are full coverage and sporty in style, and you don’t need to size up when shopping their large bust collection.

Left on Friday Top Shelf Top

My first purchase from this brand is the Left on Friday Top Shelf Top, which is specifically cut for big boobs and accommodates a D-G cup. This sporty medium coverage top cut similarly to a sports bra, with a square neck and fixed shoulder straps. I love the stretchy fabric – it’s incredibly comfortable, and was perfect for snorkeling and being active in the water. While I was initially nervous because the top didn’t have an adjustable back or shoulder straps, the fit was incredible. I could definitely tell it was designed specifically for a D – G cup big busted woman.

CUUP

While CUUP is primarily a bra company, they do produce a small line of swimwear with a wide range of bra sizing options, including large bust sizes. Their bikini tops are available in band sizes 30-44 as well as A-H cups. Overall, their styles are supportive, have underwire, and fit like a very comfortable bra. Plus, the brand errs on the side of fuller coverage for a more modest look. Note, in the past couple of years, CUUP has downsized their swimwear collection, and most pieces are now at extremely affordable clearance rates.

CUUP Scoop Swim Top

I tried all three large bust CUUP swimsuit top styles, and found that the CUUP Scoop Top fit my bust the best. I found it to run true to size, and was probably the most comfortable and well fitting underwire bikini top I have ever put on. The material is stretchy, comfortable, and similar to a bra – but didn’t feel like a bra at all. The top also features thick adjustable shoulder straps as well as a fully adjustable clasp back. Note the bottom options, even when labeled cheeky, are going to be much more full-coverage than the average swimwear brand.

Beach Bunny

Beach Bunny is the ultimate swimwear company if you are looking for a glamorous statement bikini. Generally designed for smaller bodies, you’ll find sizing here for D and DD cups. However, there are some DDD cups available that even fit my G!

While expensive, Beach Bunny is perfect if you need a glamorous swimsuit (think Vegas). However, it is important to note that these bikinis were more-so designed to be seen and less for swimming. Pay close attention to the care labels, as many of the bikinis aren’t designed for the water.

Beach Bunny Lexi Bralette

After seeing a large busted Instagram influencer wearing a Beach Bunny bikini, I ordered two options to try out myself. While both fit well, I ended up deciding to keep the Beach Bunny Lexi Bralette due to the high cost of these swimsuits. This glamorous bralette style top features lace and metal hardware details, a bralette cut, adjustable thin shoulder straps, and a back tie. The top fit but I did feel like I was pushing it with my G-cup though and that it would have fit a cup size or two down perfectly. Also, I will note that I only wore this bikini for photoshoot purposes. The care label advised against wearing the suit in a pool or ocean so I did not go in the pool wearing it.

DOLL Swimwear

DOLL Swimwear is an online swim retailer that offers thousands of low cost bikini options. While the models pictured are typically thin and smaller-chested, a number of DOLL tops work well for large busts. Here you can find inexpensive yet glamorous bikini options (think Beach Bunny, but on a budget) and so many mix and match options, it’s almost overwhelming. You’ll definitely need to have some time available to sort through all the mix and match options available to you, but the pay off is a great deal.

DOLL Swimwear Ribbed Knot Top

While most of DOLL Swimwear’s bikinis lean more glamorous, I decided to go for a more sporty option in a unique style I normally don’t see available for large busts. The DOLL Ribbed Knit Top is a tank style top with adjustable straps, a tie-knot detail, and ribbed fabric. Although the band is not adjustable, I was shocked at just how perfect this top fit my large bust and how comfortable and supportive it was. I was thrilled to find a unique tank style bikini top that actually fit my large bust.

Abercrombie & Fitch

Hear me out on this one – Abercrombie & Fitch sells a line of bikinis for large busts. You heard that right, gone are the days of the early 2000s where a large fit a size zero. A&F is back with size inclusivity, including when it comes to swimwear. Abercrombie’s “Curve Love” line is designed for D-F cups and features several large bust swimsuit styles, primarily with underwire support. Their swimwear tends to be offered seasonally, so stock up when it is in stores.

A&F Curve Love Wide Strap Underwire Top

Abercrombie & Fitch’s Curve Love Wide Strap Underwire Top is considered their classic underwire bikini top for large busts. The top has comfortable and adjustable wide straps and and underwire with a classic shape. Note that when I purchased the top a few years ago, the top featured a tie back. The style has since been updated to now feature a hook closure. I felt that the underwire cups definitely lifted me up, and was a general overall good fit. Plus, my mind was blown that my 36G large bust actually fit into a swimsuit top offered by Abercrombie.

Skatie

Skatie is a fun and flirty swimwear brand that offer some styles for straight sized women with smaller bands and larger busts. They offer a detailed sizing and fit guide that covers each of their tops, which is extremely helpful for selecting the right top. Plus, Skatie offers a large variety of different top and bottom styles in a plethora of colors, so you never run out of options when you find a style that works for you.

Skatie Betsy Top

I tried a few Skatie tops, and found that the Skatie Betsy Top fit me best. The top features a sporty bralette-style cut with adjustable straps and a string tie back. Overall, I feel like Skatie bikini tops are a better fit for overall smaller women with smaller band sizes. While the top offers medium support and coverage and is completely adjustable, I felt the top was designed more so for a maximum size 8-10. I was really pushing being able to fit in this top, and the other Skatie tops I tried, did not fit me at all. Overall I think this brand would be perfect for you if you are just a bit smaller than me.

OneOne Swimwear

OneOne Swimwear features bright and colorful bikinis in sporty styles. The brand typically appeals to smaller, straight-sized women with small busts, however, on occasion they offer a size XXL. Those XXLs can be a great option for large busted women with a larger band size. This is a swimwear brand to keep an eye on for when a large bust top pops up here and there.

OneOne Mayte Top

Although size XXL bikini tops aren’t the norm with OneOne, I was able to get my hands on the OneOne Swimwear Mayte Top in this size. Now this athletic style tie-back top wasn’t a perfect fit. While it had adjustable back ties, I could tell it really would have worked better for a larger band than a 36. This is due to the vertical wires for support on the sides of the top in the rib area. It was overall too big and I ended up cutting those out. It fit better after, but overall I think this top would have better suited a 38-40 band. Unfortunately, this top is currently out of stock, but keep an eye out for more adjustable-back XXLs to drop.
