Monday Swimwear Size Guide

Monday Swimwear uses a unique P – VVV sizing system. The large bust options include:

• V = Voluptuous
• VV = Very Voluptuous
• VVV = Very, Very Voluptuous

Because the majority of Monday’s swimsuits tie in the back, large busted women can order the largest size possible.

Something I really appreciate about Monday is they provide the sizing of their models for reference. And recently, they have started to introduce more mid-sized and curvy models. In years past, most of their models were quite thin.

Monday Swimwear Top Guides

Monday Clovelly Top

The Clovelly Top is considered to be Monday Swimwear’s best-selling bikini top. This is an underwire top with adjustable straps, a tie-back, and a V-front detail that is a great large bust swimsuit option.

I do see why the Clovelly Top is so popular. The fit is excellent and the underwire very comfortable. I also was impressed that I was able to fit into a VV, as the color I wanted to purchase was sold out in the largest size. I did purchase a second Clovelly Top in VVV down the road and it fit fantastic too.

I did run into one minor issue with the Clovelly top I purchased. I found that the shoulder straps would get twisted and also fall down my sloped shoulders pretty often. However, this may have been moreso the fabric choice or size issue rather than the top. This issue did not happen with my second Clovelly Top purchase in the larger size.

Monday Honolulu Top

The Monday Swimwear Honoluli Top is an underwire halter bikini top for large busts. It features wide halter straps, an adjustable tie back, and o-ring details. Monday states that this top sculpts, lifts, and supports.

I really thought the Honolulu Top was going to be my favorite Monday Swimwear top. It’s incredibly comfortable, supportive, and lifting. I felt great heading to the beach for its first wear, until I noticed there was issue with the underwire as I literally sat down in my beach chair.

The underwire was sticking out of the top by a few inches in the middle of my chest. What?! My boyfriend had to do emergency surgery on the top, while I was still wearing it, in the middle of the beach. He ended up cutting slits inside with a key and pulled out the underwires completely. I felt good after this, but without the underwire I did lose some of the shape and life. Fluke or not? I’m not sure.

Monday Sorrento Top

The Sorrento Top is one of Monday’s newest underwire bikini tops. With its demi style cups, the Sorrento Top is both feminine and flattering for large busts. The top also features adjustable thick shoulder straps and a tie back.

Normally, I struggle with fitting into demi underwire tops and usually avoid this cut for my 36G bust. However, I decided to give the Monday Sorrento Top a try and was pleasantly surprised. The demi cut was supportive, lifting, and I did not feel like my boobs would fall out. It’s overall a very pretty top.

Yes, there is some spillage when looking at me in the top from a side angle. But in my opinion, it’s minor and didn’t bother me at all.

Monday Maui Top

The Maui Top is another underwire large bust bikini top from Monday. This one is said to be cleavage-enhancing with a demi cup style, adjustable thin straps, and a tie back.

Although I had excellent luck with another one of Monday’s demi-style bikini tops, unfortunately I had a couple of issues at this one. First of all, if you look closely the website photos, you can see the sides of this top sticking out slightly on the larger-busted models. This happened to me as well and it rubbed my arms terribly. I ended up cutting out the underwire.

Once the underwire was out, the rubbing stopped and I was so much more comfortable. I honestly don’t think I could have worn this swimsuit top for more than a couple minutes with the underwire in. On the flip side though, I did lose quite a bit of lift and shape from removing the underwire.

Monday Morocco Top

Monday Swimwear’s Morocco Top is the perfect triangle top for large busts. This top features wide neck and back ties, pleated cup details, and gold ring hardware.

I found the Morocco Top to be extremely comfortable, and it also surprisingly provided a lot of lift and support. I appreciate the soft, wide straps versus string bikini straps. The cups themselves also offer a lot of coverage, and are somewhat adjustable.

If you are looking for a triangle top style bikini but want more comfort for your larger bust, this is the perfect choice.

Monday Tulum Top

The Tulum Top is described as the Monday founder’s favorite top and I think I agree! It comes in a buttery soft material, ties at the neck and back, and has tabs at the top of the bust for adjustability.

This large bust top really is amazing. It really felt like a second skin and I appreciate the adjustable tabs, which allow you to make the top look like either a triangle or a halter. While Monday describes it as a top for up to DDD cups, it accommodated my G cup no problem.

I highly recommend the Tulum top. If you are a E, F, or G cup, I wouldn’t be afraid to try the top even though it is marketed towards a DDD and below.

Monday Portofino Top

Monday Swimwear’s Portofino Top is a “tall triangle” style with adjustable straps and a tie back. If offers the coverage and look of a halter-style bikini top with the comfort of shoulder straps.

I found the Portofino Top to be an excellent large bust bikini option. It is very comfortable and the tall triangle style offers great cup coverage. I love that it kind of looks like a halter but the straps go over the shoulders instead of tied around the neck.

Unfortunately, this top is currently out of production in 2024. I have no idea why! The last time I was able to purchase this top was in 2022. I wish they would bring this top back!

Monday Aruba Top

The Aruba top is one of Monday’s unique signature tops. The top is an over the shoulder style with a v neck, pleated cups, wide straps, and a supportive wide under bust band that ties at the back. And while Monday states this top is great for up to G cups, I’m not sure I agree.

This larger boob top is really cute. To me it gives off a boho or grecian goddess vibe. Unfortunately I have a love hate relationship with this top. It just didn’t fit me well. I felt the shoulders weren’t long enough, so the band kept riding up my ribs. Also, the cups were definitely bordering on slightly too small and kind of gave my chest a squished appearance. The top looks great when I have it adjusted, but as soon as I move I have to adjust the suit constantly.

I really wish this top came in a VV/VVV size. I think this would have eliminated the issues for me. However, if you are more of a D through DDD cup, I think this would be a great top for you.

Monday Palma Top

If you think a true triangle top string bikini for large busts doesn’t exist, you’re wrong! Meet the Monday Palma Top, a true string bikini top. Palma features adjustable string neck and back ties and ample cups that provide plenty of coverage.

I really like the Palma Top because it’s rare to find a large bust triangle string bikini that actually fits. I couldn’t believe the cups actually fit me with little to no spillage.

The downsides of this top are not the fault of the top. It’s just that if you have massive boobs and want to wear a string bikini triangle top, you are going to have some neck pain from holding them up. Thicker straps would help with this, but then it wouldn’t really be a string bikini, would it?

Monday Capri Top

The Capri Top is another underwire bikini top from Monday Swim that fits large busts very well. This top features thin over the shoulder straps, an underwire, and a thick back tie.

Overall I felt the Capri Top fit quite well. The underwire was comfortable and I wasn’t spilling out much at all. However, the top is described as being lifted and supported – but I felt that other Monday tops lifted my large bust better than this one did.

I thought about rating this large bust bikini top a 5/5, however, I think I have to knock a point off for the thin straps. It wasn’t that the thin straps were uncomfortable – they weren’t – but I felt they didn’t give me as much lift and support as a thicker strap would.

Monday Malibu Top

Monday’s Malibu Top is a large bust underwire bikini top with a rouching detail on the cups. The top features thick and adjustable shoulder straps, a back tie closure, and shirred underwire cups.

This underwire top fit me great, and was so comfortable. I found the cups to be very supportive with little to no spillage. I also appreciated the comfort of the thick straps.

If you’re looking for a flattering and comfortable underwire top with a little extra fun detail like the shirring, this is the one.

Monday Bordeaux Top

And finally, we have the Monday Bordeaux Top. The Bordeaux Top is a large bust friendly bikini top option that features a cross over neckline, adjustable straps, and an adjustable tie closure. The top has “power mesh” for support.

I had a few issues with this top. First of all, I felt like the crisscross design kept getting tangled and I wasn’t quite sure how to put it on and get it situated the right way. It also offered very little support – I felt saggy.

I also felt the VVV was borderline too small. I went snorkeling in this top, and my nipples fell out constantly. Even standing in the top, I felt like the wrapped fabric at the bottom was barely holding me in, and my underboob was falling out. It’s cute, but not the best fit for my large bust unfortunately.

Is Monday Swim Worth the Money?

You may have noticed in this post that the Monday Swim tops are not cheap. They regularly range from around $80 – $100 for the tops alone. This is expensive! So, is it worth it?

I say a resounding yes. It’s so hard to find quality bikini tops for large busts, and Monday offers so many amazing cuts. Plus, they offer a wide selection on fabrics and colors, often releasing new color collections and coordinating cover ups. You really can’t go wrong with a Monday bikini. They truly are my go to large bust swimwear brand and I am constantly ordering new suits in new colors.
