Ventus Ha’: One Bedroom Suite Platinum with Bathtub {Mexico}
Welcome to room #28011, the Ventus Ha’ One Bedroom Suite Platinum with Bathtub! After staying one night in the Junior Suite Platinum, we had the pleasure of being upgraded to this room during our trip to the brand new Ventus Ha’ at Marina El Cid in November 2021.
The One Bedroom Platinum with Bathtub at Ventus Ha’ is the most upgraded one bedroom available at the resort. This suite sleeps four with a king bed in a separate bedroom as well as a pull-down Murphy bed in the living room. It also features an amazing bathtub and is part of Ventus Ha’s upgraded Platinum class of rooms.
Our room was an end unit on the first floor, which was extremely convenient. We were literally just steps from the pool just outside our door.

Ventus Ha’ One Bedroom – Living & Dining
The One Bedroom Platinum Suite has both a living room and dining area upon entry. There is a dining table that seats four, a couch, and a TV. You also have a door to your patio/balcony.
The best part about the living room is that the couch is actually a pull-down Murphy bed that sleeps two. This makes the suite essentially function like a two bedroom that can comfortably sleep four, especially when considering the fact that the suite has a second restroom and a second closet in this area.
The restroom has double sinks open to the rest of the suite, and a walk-in shower and toilet in a separate room. Toiletries are provided, including shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hand sanitizer, and insect repellent lotion.
In addition to the restroom and vanity area, there is also a double built-in closet system. The closet is very spacious and houses a mini-fridge, coffee maker, safe, and iron.
Ventus Ha’ One Bedroom – Bedroom Suite
The bedroom suite is very large, and on its own is the same size as the entirety of the junior suites at the resort. It is the exact same size and length as the living half of the suite, so it’s almost like you get two suites in one.
The bedroom features a super comfortable king sized bed, which has under mount motion-activated lights. You also have a bench, dresser, TV, and two night stands. There is direct access to the patio or balcony as well.
The bedroom is separated from the living area by both a door and this shuttered interior window. This means you can shut it for privacy at night or keep it open during the day.
There is also a robust closet area to utilize with plenty of hanger space and room for your suitcases.
Ventus Ha’ One Bedroom – Restroom & Bathtub
The restroom is open concept and part of the bedroom, with the exception of the shower and toilet that is in a separate room closed off by a door. You have double sinks, additional toiletries included, and a gorgeous walk-in shower. Essentially, this restroom set up is identical to the second restroom by the entry.
Hands down, the BEST part of this suite is the pedestal bath tub! I took a relaxing bath in this tub almost every single night.
Ventus Ha’ One Bedroom – Balcony & View
The one bedroom suites are located on all five floors. If you are on the first floor, of course you will have a patio. On higher floors, you will have a balcony.
Even though we were on the first floor, you can see that it’s fairly private because of all the foliage. We were also in an end unit, and thus just steps from the pool, so it was super convenient.
The patio/balcony runs the entire width of the suite, and has a sliding glass door from both the living room and the bedroom. You’ll have four chairs and two side tables, as well as a comfortable hammock to relax in.
If you are on a higher floor level, you will have an amazing view of the pool as well as the marshes in the distance.
Ventus Ha’ Platinum Club
Ventus Ha’s one bedroom suites with bathtubs are consider at Platinum class, Platinum rooms are upgraded room classes with extra perks and services. If you book this type of room, you will automatically receive Platinum Club benefits.
Perks of the Platinum Club upgrade include:
- Private check-in and out
- Access to the Platinum Club lounge
- Access to Platinum pools & beach area (At Ventus & El Cid)
- Upgraded room service menu
- Turn down service
- Bathrobes and slippers
While there are more Platinum Club perks listed on Ventus and El Cid’s websites, I don’t really feel that the affect or enhance your stay at Ventus Ha’. The Platinum Club plays less of a role at Ventus Ha’ than at Ventus or El Cid, as there are no off-limit or exclusive areas at this small property.
What is the cost of the One Bedroom Platinum Suite with Bathtub?
We did not actually book the One Bedroom Platinum Suite with Bathtub during our stay. Rather, we booked a Luxury King with Bathtub and were upgraded to this room after one was not available for us. We also booked out trip during a grand opening 50% off sale.
The normal rate on this room runs around a whopping $2000/night! The 50% off sale is still running at the time of this post, making the rate average around $1000/night.
In contrast, the standard rate for the room we booked was $800/night per night. We had actually booked our room for $400/night due to the 50% off sale. That means we seriously got upgraded In addition, we also spent about $100 in tips, about $120 for our ground transportation, and $1100 on flights.
