Welcome to the Ventus Ha One Bedroom Suite Platinum with Bathtub, room #28011. During our stay at the Ventus Ha’ at Marina El Cid all inclusive resort in Mexico, we were upgraded to this large one bedroom, two bathroom suite.

If you are looking for a chic, spa-like all inclusive jungle resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico, then you won’t want to miss this all-inclusive. This Platinum-class one bedroom sleeps fours and features a separate bedroom with ensuite bathroom as well as a pull-down Murphy bed in the living room.

Ventus Ha’ One Bedroom: Living & Dining

The One Bedroom suite has a full dining and living areas as well as a full bathroom. The dining room features a table with four chairs, and the living room a Murphy Bed couch, coffee table, end table, ceiling fan, and television. There is a large closet system, with plenty of room for hanging clothes as well as a mini-fridge, coffee maker, safe, and iron.

The best part about the living room is that the couch is actually a pull-down Murphy bed that sleeps two. This makes the suite essentially function like a two bedroom. You can comfortably sleep four in this room – especially since the suite has a second restroom and a second closet in this area.

Ventus Ha’ One Bedroom: Bedroom

The bedroom and bathroom suite is separated from the living and dining areas by both a door and a cut out with shutters. The room is extremely spacious, and runs the same length as the living half side. It’s almost like two rooms in one!

The bedroom features an incredibly comfortable king sized bed with under mount, motion-activated lights. The room also features a luggage bench, dresser, wall mounted television, two night stands, and an overhead fan. There is also a large closet system in the bedroom, so all guests have room to unpack and store their belongings.

Ventus Ha One Bedroom: Bathroom

Attached to the bedroom is an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom features a vanity with double sinks as well as a bath tub that are open to the room. The shower and toilet are located behind a door in a separate water closet.

The bathroom is designed for couples in my opinion due to the double sinks as well as the open concept bath tub. I liked that the toilet was located in a separate room, but do prefer when the shower is not in the room with the toilet.

The pedestal bath tub is hands down the best part of the suite. I took a relaxing bath in this tub almost every single night!

Ventus Ha’ One Bedroom: Second Bathroom

The One Bedroom Suite Platinum at Ventus Ha also features a second full bathroom, which is located at the front of the room when you walk in.

The shower and toilet are located behind a separate door. The vanity area is open to the dining and living room, though it does have a wooden divider for some separation of space.

Because of the second bathroom, the One Bedroom Platinum suite makes an excellent choice for a families with children or friends staying together.

Ventus Ha’ One Bedroom – Balcony & View

The One Bedroom Suites are located on all five floors and feature two patios or balconies. From what I can tell by the resort’s website, it looks like some One Bedroom Suites on higher floors have extra windows due to corner locations. In our room, our two balconies were combined and not separate.

The patio/balcony runs the entire width of the suite, and has a sliding glass door from both the living room and the bedroom. You’ll have four chairs and two side tables, as well as a comfortable hammock to relax in. And although we were located on the first floor just steps from the pool, the garden foliage actually made it quite private.

Our room was on the end, so it was just steps from the pool area. If you are on a higher floor level, you will have an amazing view of the pool as well as the marshes in the distance.

What is the cost of the One Bedroom Platinum Suite with Bathtub?

We did not actually book the One Bedroom Platinum Suite with Bathtub during our stay. Rather, we booked a Luxury King with Bathtub and were upgraded to this room after one was not available for us. I’d say we got a fantastic upgrade!

While entry level rooms at Ventus Ha’ start around $350/night during low season, the One Bedroom Suite Platinum with Bathtub starts around $650/night. While this room would be a bit more than we usually spend, I think it’s a great value if you need to sleep four people.
