Our mission is to help you find the best tropical destinations and resorts for your next vacation. Have a destination in mind, but lost as to which resort to book? We focus on midrange and affordable luxury accommodations perfect for a weekend away or a romantic retreat.

Here you’ll find resort reviews, resort room tours, destination guides, travel tips, resort fashion, swimwear, and more to help you with your planning.

And as we’ve learned firsthand, it is possible to visit the most amazing, exotic destinations for a reasonable price while busy with life and work.

We’re not influencers, travel agents, or social media personalities. We’re just Stella & David, an average middle-aged couple from Nashville that loves to travel to tropical destinations and share our adventures. You can subscribe on YouTube at Stella in Paradise and our second channel Stella in the Wild (work in progress!)

On our first international trip together as a couple to the Dominican Republic in 2021, I read an e-book from a TikToker called The Complete Guide to Traveling the World and Getting Paid to Share It while in the pool — and decided right then and there that we were going to be travel creators as well. With David’s photography skills and my background in educational content creation, it was a natural fit. We’ve been traveling and creating content ever since, with nineteen countries and counting as a couple.

We use a TON of different photography and videography gear, but all you really need to create travel content is a high quality smart phone, a microphone, and a gimbal stabilizer. Check out What’s in Our Camera Bag and our Amazon Storefront for more.

We’ve been to nineteen countries and hands down our favorite place in the ENTIRE world is the Cook Islands! The islands of Rarotonga and Aitutaki are the most beautiful destinations we’ve ever visited and they hold a special place in our hearts. We are also big all inclusive resort fans and regularly visit resorts in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

In 2025, we went on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Maldives, stayed at two Secrets Resorts in the Dominican Republic, and also went to a brand new Riu resort opening in Mexico. We started off 2026 with an island hopping trip to Sint Maarten, St. Barth, and Anguilla!
